We won a TIGA Award!

We were extremely proud to take home the TIGA Award for Best Educational Initiative & Talent Development for our work with the Ubisoft Gaming School over the summer. This award was the result of the hard work and passion of some of our studios most dedicated professionals and we couldn't be happier to have won!

The TIGA Awards are a yearly event held to recognise and honour the vital contributions from studios of all sizes across the gaming industry. A wide range of categories covering everything from creativity, technical innovation, business and education are considered before the short lists are whittled down and winners chosen. Ubisoft Reflections faced stiff competition from 13 other nominees (including one for our work with the North East Futures UTC initiative) to emerge victorious.

Whilst we were not fortunate enough to take home the prize, we are still very proud to have received a further two nominations for Atomega and Ode in the Arcade Game and Audio Design categories respectively.

Our recent win is actually the fifth TIGA Award Ubisoft Reflections has won, our first being for the Best Action/Adventure Game by a Large Studio which Watch_Dogs scooped up in 2011. This was followed in 2015 when Grow Home picked up the award for Best Casual Game by a Large Studio before 2016 saw us take home two TIGA Awards for Best In-House Studio and Best Outstanding Individual (Giselle Stewart)!

This is a fantastic achievement for the Ubisoft Gaming School and only makes us more determined to strengthen and expand it to more Ubisoft studios, including our own Leamington studio, in the future!
