STUDENTS & CAREERS

  • Can I do my work experience placement/ sandwich year or an internship at your studio?
    • While Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Leamington can't offer this right now, Ubisoft UK does have an internship and graduate program that you can learn about here
  • Can you give me advice & guidance about my portfolio/ degree?
    • It's fantastic you’re thinking of joining the Ubisoft/ Reflections family! While we can’t offer personalised guidance, we are creating a series of videos that might help, and they're right at the top of this page!
  • What learning and development opportunities do you have?
    • Aside from an extensive programme which enables team members to travel to external training, conferences and events both to speak and as delegates to learn, we provide significant internal training initiatives and knowledge sharing within the Studio and the wider Ubisoft group. We also have an extensive Leadership Development programme based around classroom training and 1-2-1 coaching, which enables and supports all leaders and high-potential future leaders.
  • I don't have games experience, should I still apply?
    • Yes! Even if you don't have the technical skills specific to the role, you may still have transferable skills that could be valuable to our teams.
  • What if I'm interested in multiple positions? Can I apply to more than one position?
    • Yes, you can apply for multiple positions at one time. Please don't assume that one application will cover all similar job openings. You should apply separately to ensure your profile is considered for each position.
  • What's it like to live in Newcastle?
    • You'll love it! Have a look here.
  • What's it like to live in Leamington?
    • It's great! Have a look here.

STUDIO TOURS

  • Can I (or my class) have a studio tour when I visit Newcastle?
    • It depends! As you can imagine, everyone at Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Leamington are busy contributing to Ubisoft’s amazing games. Occasionally, however, we host studio tours for media and community leaders. If this sounds like you, get in touch with us!
  • I’m thinking of applying for a role at Reflections, can I have a tour?
    • That's great news! From time to time, when our schedule permits, we can host studio tours for media and community leaders. It’s a bit tougher to arrange tours for individuals, but speak to your talent acquisition manager when you apply.

APPLICATION PROCESS & BENEFITS

  • What career opportunities do you have?
    • Please have a look here
  • What should I consider before submitting an application?
    • Make sure you have read and understood the job description, updated your CV to include employers, dates of employment and the responsibilities and skills you have acquired throughout your career. Ensure you have checked spelling and grammar in all of your attachments and, if you're submitting an online portfolio or links to websites, please ensure they work properly and display your best work.
  • I don't have games experience, should I still apply?
    • Yes, even if you don't have the technical skills specific to the role, you may still have transferable skills that could be valuable to our teams.
  • Once I've submitted my application, when should I hear back from you?
    • Once you have submitted your application, you should receive an automated response acknowledging this. Following this, we endeavour to provide feedback on your application within (a maximum of) one month. If you haven't heard within a month, don't worry, we will get back to you! If you're worried, contact our Talent Acquisition Manager, Craig Pearn, here.
  • How long will the recruitment process be?
    • Each recruitment process will be different due to a number of factors - i.e. job type, level of seniority, candidate location and availability, etc. Typically, we include video interviews and technical tests as well as onsite interviews. This makes it difficult to place an exact timeframe on the process. You should consult one of the recruitment team for a more reliable estimate, for your case.
  • If I've been unsuccessful, how long before I can apply again?
    • We have no timeframe on reapplying. If there is another position available that is of interest to you, then you should apply!
